A major element to the game is quickly building 'respect.' Earning this sought-after characteristic gives gamers a means to attain powerful new fighting skills, hardcore weapons, critical information and a wide variety of NPC (non-playable character) support vital for completing various objectives. As a streetwise underground pit fighter and brother of the infamous Cody from the classic Final Fight series, Kyle must try to solve his brother's disappearance. In Final Fight Streetwise, players assume the role of Kyle Travers. Yet while Kyle's street-fighting prowess may be legendary among his friends and rivals, he'll have to earn respect in the rival gang's territory in order to make his way to the final showdown with his brother's captors. When Cody is kidnapped by an upstart rival gang, Kyle becomes a one-man rescue squad, with powerful punches and kicks his most useful tool. As in past releases, this game's story involves the Travers brothers, Kyle and Cody. Based on the side-scrolling brawler that first came to North America in 1991, 2006's Streetwise features 3D graphics and interactive environments.
